Huntley BrownI’ve always loved stories.
As a child, I was captivated by Batman, Green Hornet, Happy Days and Good Times.
Then I found out that the greatest theatre was my imagination. Books began to take me places that my black and white tv couldn’t. I’ve been enthralled by authors writing on the human experience and pushing the boundaries of possibilities.
I guess that why story telling has been such a big part of sharing my heart with people.
In 1973, I was 14 years old. I young enough to think I was an adult and young enough to still want an allowance. I knew something was wrong. Something was missing. My mom shared hope with me when she told me about her experience with Jesus Christ. Initially I smiled and dismissed her latest fad. Before that summer was over I invited Christ into my heart. I was changed. Not perfect, but ushered into a world of forgiveness and divine connection. I immediately developed a love for God’s word. During high school I lead an after school Bible Study. While attending Moody Bible Institute I preached at Cook County Jail in Chicago for 3 years. I also did one to one ministry at the Chicago juvenile detention center. I’ve been preaching since 1978.
As a child I dabbled in music. But the summer I came to Christ I found my voice. I sang in the choir and did some solos. I’ve led praise and worship throughout America and in Africa.
I’ve served as a youth pastor for 10 years in Chicago and Joliet, IL
I’ve also pastored New Life Baptist Church in Chicago Heights for 11 years.
During the ‘90s I provided substance abuse counseling to youth and adults.
I believe the ultimate addiction is sin and the ultimate cure is the cross.
I graduated from Moody Bible Institute and Trinity International University before Fred Flintstone met Wilma.
I currently host of 2 national Moody Radio programs: Celebration of Praise and Music for Sunday. I also served as the originator and host of Urban Praise Radio.
I served as the station manager of Moody Radio Chicago, 90.1 FM for four years.
I currently serves as the Community Relations Director at Moody Bible Institute.
I have been married to Lynette for over 30 years and have 3 adult children. I also have 3 amazing grandchildren.
This is just a little bit of my story. Can’t wait to share more…

Mrs. Sisco worked in the chemical industry for almost 30 years and is the retired global Vice President for Safety, Health & Environment of Ecolab Company. She became the first African American female vice president of Ecolab after one of the industry's largest mergers (between Ecolab and Nalco). Aside from the work, her engagement with staff, colleagues and government officials from all over the world has fed her love of people and cultures while giving her keen insight into her Kingdom building calling.
With the passing of her husband Rodney of 30½ years in late 2018, her commitment to her faith, biblical Kingdom diversity, and a global mindset, gave way to a vision to launch the Sisco Symposium to honor Rodney's lifework and legacy, an area in which they co-labored and shared a deep passion for their entire partnership. The Symposium now in its 6th year, focuses on Christian colleges across North America and seeks to inform, prepare and influence future Chrisian leaders to see, embrace and practice biblical Kingdom diversity. This work is undergirded by Rev 5:9b – "ransomed...from every tribe, ever tongue, every nation and every people" and Matthew 6:10 – "…Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven".
Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Mrs. Sisco holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry Emphasis from Wheaton College, IL., and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Benedictine University, IL. The Wheaton College Gospel Choir was formed in 1986 by students who shared a desire to worship God through Black Gospel music. Under the direction of Ms. Tanya Egler, the ministry continues to be energetic and Spirit-filled. Coming from various backgrounds and cultures, these students have expanded their campus ministry to include churches, homeless shelters, schools, and prisons in the Chicagoland area. From its inception, the Gospel Choir has always been an intentionally diverse choir of women and men praising God, and through their diversity, the students have been blessed to see God bring people to Himself and to bridge cultural and spiritual gaps for His glory. The purpose and vision of Wheaton College Gospel Choir is to evangelize to the unsaved through singing, personal testimonies, and a clear gospel message through scripture, as well as to partner with local churches that support the choir as they work together with the church body to take the good news of Jesus Christ to the community.
My name is Marilyn Wiggan, and I love the Lord!
In 1992, my family and I immigrated from Jamaica to the United States, where I continued my career as a Physical Therapist at Rush Presbyterian Hospital in Chicago. Later, I completed my Master of Science in Managerial Leadership at National Louis University. After settling down in Evanston, I transitioned to working in Integrated Medicine clinics that offered a more holistic approach to treatments.
During my earlier years in Jamaica, I was actively involved in the Jamaica Youth for Christ Ministry and my local church, Calvary Gospel Assembly. Caring for people and nurturing their spiritual well-being have always been my heart’s desire. In high school, I attended the Jamaica Drama School, which helped to shape my creative and interpersonal skills. I now use these skills along with my other gifts to minister to my brothers and sisters. My latest project was writing and directing my first major production entitled, ‘Burden to Blessings. The Sarah Rector story.’ This play challenged the audience to evaluate their relationship with Jesus Christ.
My family consists of my husband Robert, my twins, Sean and Shae-Anne, Sean’s Fiancé, Tylar, Devonte, Maya and soon to be Mother-In-Law, Tawana. And how could I forget my grand dogs Cinnamon and Toast.
